We have been established since 1975 both as a charitable trust and since 1996 as a Private Limited Company.

MKOH works in partnership with Human Resources, Line Managers and Health & Safety teams. We aim to provide a cost effective means of meeting your legal requirements, a tailored and flexible service, full support on and off site resulting in a reduction in bottom line costs through reduced lost time in sickness absence, better staff morale, efficiency, productivity and staff turnover.

Our flexible peripatetic approach ensures that we can tailor a specific experience for your requirements that enables you to fulfil your Occupational Health obligations as an employer and ensures the right support for your staff at all stages of their engagement with our business.

At MKOH our team take great pride in delivering a ‘personal service’ on a National basis, ensuring client companies are provided with direct contacts for our team (no call centres) which in turn help us to work with your company to support and develop the OH services we deliver for you.

A professional service from an experienced company - delivering real bottom line savings to your organisation.

Our philosophy

MKOH approach is to deliver our services – particularly our OH Nurse and Technician based work - through our own employed individuals. To support our peripatetic staff, we have built up a network of similar minded organisations around the UK and Ireland that we can work with to provide support to our customers.

Either approach is always managed from our Head Office to ensure a consistent and quality service.

For both clinical and administrative solutions we ensure a consistent contact point or on site team to ensure good communications and working relationships are built with the Operations Team, facilitating a good understanding of the workplace and workforce, thus providing the platform to be effective and proactive with our Occupational Health activities.

Our vision

Mutual Respect – We treat everyone with respect, fairness and courtesy and appreciate the impact that this has on the effectiveness of the team. We will recognise the need to balance personal and business lives.

Know Your Customer - We will understand our customer and look after their interests as if they were our own. We will deliver levels of service and build relationships that are second to none.

One Firm – We will act as one firm, recognising the different contributions that we make. We will treat our customers as though they were our own staff and ensure that we take ownership and provide a holistic approach to the services we provide.

Healthcare Experts – We aim to be a leading Occupational Health solution provider that is centred on our customers’ service - providing a balanced view for our customers and patients. We will embrace change and challenge the status quo, always seeking to find better ways of doing things for ourselves and our customers.
